YOUR PROJECT + OUR INFRASTRUCTURE

MEAN Stack VPS

A VPS with MEAN Stack pre-installed · By MongoDB, Express, Angular, Node.js

From MongoDB to Angular in one language, deployed with git push.

MongoDB, Express, Angular and Node.js installed with a sample app, over HTTPS, and your own code deployed with git push.

  • The MEAN stack installed and wired, with a working sample app
  • A git push to main builds Angular and restarts the app by itself
  • MongoDB reachable only by the app, with authentication and generated passwords

Pick the right plan for MEAN Stack

Every plan includes public IPv4 and IPv6, NVMe storage and a 1 Gbps uplink. Click one to reach the checkout with everything filled in.

How to size your project

MEAN weighs more on memory than it looks: MongoDB keeps its cache, Node.js runs the API and the Angular build happens on the server at every push. We measured about 630 MB in use after install. The minimum is 2 GB; 4 GB leaves room for builds and for a growing data set. Disk grows with the MongoDB data.

How to order MEAN Stack

  1. Pick a plan

vCPU, memory and disk sized for your project. You can grow it later without reinstalling.

  2. Confirm the order

Pix, bank slip or card. Nothing is charged until you confirm, and you have a 7-day guarantee.

  3. MEAN Stack ready in minutes

The server comes up with MEAN Stack installed and configured. Access details appear in the panel.

What to use a MEAN Stack VPS for

Some of the most common uses. The server is yours — run whatever you like on it.

  • Deploy a web application end to end in JavaScript, with an Express API and an Angular interface
  • Keep a staging environment where the team tests every push before it goes to production
  • Launch an MVP or portfolio project on MongoDB without wiring database, proxy and certificate by hand
  • Prototype a REST API on MongoDB and consume it from an Angular front end

About MEAN Stack

MEAN bundles four pieces for web applications written in JavaScript and TypeScript: MongoDB (document database), Express (API), Angular (interface) and Node.js (the runtime that serves it).

At Master da Web, MongoDB 8.3, Express 5, Angular 22 and Node.js 24 LTS arrive installed, with a sample app served over HTTPS by Caddy. The server runs Debian 12, the newest release MongoDB 8.x supports. MongoDB listens on 127.0.0.1 only, with access control on and generated passwords. The app lives in /srv/mean, a git repository that deploys on every git push.

The sample is only a starting point: you replace it with your code, which must start with npm start and listen on 127.0.0.1, port 3000, and you take care of the domain, MongoDB backups and updates.

Software features

  • MongoDB 8.3, Express 5, Angular 22 and Node.js 24 LTS on Debian 12
  • MongoDB on 127.0.0.1 only, with access control and passwords generated at install
  • Git repository in /srv/mean: a push to main builds Angular and restarts the app
  • Sample app with an Express notes API and an Angular interface, to replace
  • The app runs as a user with no shell and no password, and cannot write its own code
  • Caddy serves HTTPS for the hostname and the IP, with automatic renewal
  • Variables in /srv/mean/.env, readable by root only and handed over by systemd
  • Node.js, MongoDB and Caddy updated by apt upgrade, within the same series

What your MEAN Stack gets at Master da Web

Manage infrastructure from one panel: security, recovery, connectivity and growth. Check prices and availability when configuring your server.

  • Snapshots

Take a snapshot of MEAN Stack before a risky update and roll back to it with one click, without reinstalling anything.

  • Automatic backups

Scheduled copies of the whole server, kept off the host. Restore the complete MEAN Stack whenever you need to.

  • Managed firewall

Rules by port and source, applied from the panel, no iptables editing. Open only what MEAN Stack needs.

  • Security Center

Continuous external scanning of your server, with findings prioritised and the fix spelled out for each one.

  • Private network (VPC)

Connect MEAN Stack to databases and other servers over an isolated network with nothing exposed to the internet. With a VPN Gateway for remote access.

    About the VPC →

  • DDoS protection

Volumetric attack mitigation for your MEAN Stack server. Check protection options and prices when ordering.

  • Grow without reinstalling

Add vCPU, memory and disk from the panel and pay only the difference, and MEAN Stack stays exactly as it is.

  • API and MCP for automation

Create, resize and manage servers through the public API — or straight from an AI assistant, over MCP.

Ready infrastructure, with the freedom to configure your application your way.

01

With your VPS

Your chosen image installed, the plan’s resources and a panel to manage the server. Administrative access is provided after provisioning.

02

Configure for your business

The e-mail carries the site URL, the git clone command and MongoDB's administrator password; the SSH password is root's. Clone the repository, replace the sample with your code and send it with git push. Your own domain, mongodump backups and system updates are left to you.

03

Expand when you need to

Backups, snapshot capacity, DDoS protection, private networking and other features are available as you need them. Check prices and availability when configuring your server.

You administer the system and application, including updates and data. For help with configuration or management, talk to our team about the scope of support.
