MERN Stack VPS

A VPS with MERN Stack pre-installed · By MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js

React, Express and MongoDB on one server, deployed by git push.

MongoDB, Express, React and Node.js installed with a sample app, over HTTPS, and your own code deployed with git push.

  • The MERN stack installed and wired, with a sample that already answers
  • The React client is built on the server at every push, by Vite
  • MongoDB closed to the outside, with two accounts and generated passwords

Pick the right plan for MERN Stack

Every plan includes public IPv4 and IPv6, NVMe storage and a 1 Gbps uplink. Click one to reach the checkout with everything filled in.

How to size your project

Memory weighs from three sides: the MongoDB cache, the Node.js process and the Vite build, which runs on the server at every push. We measured about 620 MB in use after install (mongod takes about 230 MB). The minimum is 2 GB; move to 4 GB if the build or the data set grows.

How to order MERN Stack

  1. Pick a plan

vCPU, memory and disk sized for your project. You can grow it later without reinstalling.

  2. Confirm the order

Pix, bank slip or card. Nothing is charged until you confirm, and you have a 7-day guarantee.

  3. MERN Stack ready in minutes

What to use a MERN Stack VPS for

Some of the most common uses. The server is yours — run whatever you like on it.

  • Deploy a React web app with an Express API and MongoDB, all in JavaScript
  • Run an admin panel or internal system with React and a document database
  • Take a project that runs with npm start on your machine to a server with HTTPS and git deploys
  • Build a product prototype to test with real users before investing in infrastructure

About MERN Stack

MERN swaps MEAN's Angular for React: MongoDB stores the documents, Express serves the API, React builds the interface in the browser and Node.js runs the server. Whoever picks it writes the whole application in JavaScript.

Here you get MongoDB 8.3, Express 5, React 19.3 built by Vite 8 and Node.js 24 LTS, with a sample app behind Caddy over HTTPS. The system is Debian 12, because MongoDB 8.x is only built for it. The database never leaves the server: it listens on 127.0.0.1, requires a login and uses generated passwords. The code lives in /srv/mern, a git repository that rebuilds the React client on every git push.

The sample is there to show everything working. Then you replace it with your project and take over the domain, backups and updates.

Software features

  • MongoDB 8.3, Express 5, React 19.3 and Node.js 24 LTS on Debian 12
  • React built by Vite 8 on every deploy and served by Express itself
  • MongoDB on 127.0.0.1 only, with a required login and passwords generated at install
  • Git repository in /srv/mern: a push to main rebuilds the client and restarts
  • Express notes API and a React client as a sample, ready to replace
  • The app runs as a user with no shell and no password, and cannot alter its own code
  • Caddy serves HTTPS for the hostname and the IP, with a self-renewing certificate
  • mongodump and the SSH tunnel are documented in the server sheet, /root/mern.txt

What your MERN Stack gets at Master da Web

Manage infrastructure from one panel: security, recovery, connectivity and growth. Check prices and availability when configuring your server.

  • Snapshots

Take a snapshot of MERN Stack before a risky update and roll back to it with one click, without reinstalling anything.

  • Automatic backups

Scheduled copies of the whole server, kept off the host. Restore the complete MERN Stack whenever you need to.

  • Managed firewall

Rules by port and source, applied from the panel, no iptables editing. Open only what MERN Stack needs.

  • Security Center

Continuous external scanning of your server, with findings prioritised and the fix spelled out for each one.

  • Private network (VPC)

Connect MERN Stack to databases and other servers over an isolated network with nothing exposed to the internet. With a VPN Gateway for remote access.

01

With your VPS

Your chosen image installed, the plan’s resources and a panel to manage the server. Administrative access is provided after provisioning.

02

Configure for your business

The e-mail carries the URL, the git clone command and MongoDB's administrator password; the SSH password is root's. Clone, replace the sample with your project and send it with git push. The database connection arrives in MONGODB_URI. Your domain, backups and system updates are left to you.

03

Expand when you need to

Backups, snapshot capacity, DDoS protection, private networking and other features are available as you need them. Check prices and availability when configuring your server.

You administer the system and application, including updates and data. For help with configuration or management, talk to our team about the scope of support.
