Every plan includes public IPv4 and IPv6, NVMe storage and a 1 Gbps uplink. Click one to reach the checkout with everything filled in.

How to size your project

Load grows with the volume of telemetry — spans, log lines and metric series per day — and with retention, 15 days for traces and logs and 30 for metrics. ClickHouse is what uses most memory and disk. The minimum is 4 GB, and we measured 1.7 GB in use right after install; for an application in production, start at 8 GB and watch the disk.

About SigNoz

SigNoz is an observability platform: it brings the traces, metrics and logs of your applications into one place, received through OpenTelemetry. The project presents itself as an open source alternative to Datadog and New Relic. It is for finding the slow request or the error and seeing which service it happened in.

At Master da Web you get SigNoz 0.143, the community build (MIT), with ClickHouse storing the telemetry, behind Caddy over HTTPS. The administrator is registered with the account e-mail before the page goes public, and a second sign-up is refused after that. OTLP ingestion comes in on port 443 and is accepted only with a key in the signoz-ingestion-key header; without it the answer is 401.

To see data, instrument your application with an OpenTelemetry SDK or Collector and point it at the server's address, with the key. By default traces and logs are kept 15 days and metrics 30, adjustable under Settings > General.

Software features

  • Collector ports 4317 and 4318 not published: only Caddy answers from outside

  • Default retention of 15 days for traces and logs and 30 days for metrics
  • Metadata (users, dashboards, alerts) in SQLite and telemetry in ClickHouse

Scheduled copies of the whole server, kept off the host. Restore the complete SigNoz whenever you need to.

  • Managed firewall

Rules by port and source, applied from the panel, no iptables editing. Open only what SigNoz needs.

  • Security Center

Continuous external scanning of your server, with findings prioritised and the fix spelled out for each one.

  • Private network (VPC)

Connect SigNoz to databases and other servers over an isolated network with nothing exposed to the internet. With a VPN Gateway for remote access.
