How to size your project

Load grows with the number of monitors, the frequency of the checks and the history kept. Kuma uses SQLite, with no separate database server, and the 1 GB minimum plan is the starting point; watch usage as you add monitors. Remember it runs on this server: to be told when it goes down, monitor it from outside as well.

About Uptime Kuma

Uptime Kuma is a self-hosted uptime monitor: it checks websites, APIs, TCP ports, ping, DNS and other services at short intervals, keeps each one's history and tells you when something goes down or comes back. It also publishes status pages for your customers to follow.

At Master da Web, Uptime Kuma 2.5 arrives behind Caddy over HTTPS, on the slim image with an SQLite database. The administrator is created by the installer, which checks the login before the page goes public: Kuma lets anyone create the administrator account until the first user exists. The generated password comes in the order e-mail.

After that, you add monitors in the dashboard and pick the channels under Settings > Notifications: e-mail, Telegram, WhatsApp, webhooks and more. The data lives in /opt/uptime-kuma/data, the folder you copy for backups.
