About Zabbix

Zabbix offers real-time monitoring, configurable alerts, advanced graphical visualizations, detailed reports, and support for a wide range of operating systems, applications and protocols. The system allows you to collect performance metrics, availability, and system health through agents, SNMP, IPMI, and other technologies.
With Zabbix on Master da Web, you get Zabbix 7.0 LTS, which receives critical fixes until June 2029, from the official Zabbix server and web images in Docker, with PostgreSQL 17. The frontend opens over HTTPS with an automatic certificate at the root of the server's address, in Portuguese and on São Paulo time (each user can switch the interface language in their profile). The Admin password is generated at installation, so the default Admin/zabbix is never reachable; it arrives in the welcome e-mail sent when the server is ready and is also kept in /root/zabbix-7-lts.txt, a file only root can read. The guest account is disabled.
The server monitors itself from the first minute with Zabbix agent 2, and port 10051 is open for agents on your other servers to send active checks; encrypting those agents with PSK is a step you take yourself. From there you can detect problems before they affect your users and keep track of the availability of your critical services.
