How to size your project

About phpIPAM
phpIPAM is an open-source web application for managing IP addresses: you organise subnets into sections, record addresses, VLANs, VRFs and devices, see what is free and follow the changes. Network teams use it in place of the IP spreadsheet.
At Master da Web it arrives as phpIPAM 1.8.3 with MariaDB 11.4 and a scanning container. The web installer is disabled and the default password ipamadmin never exists: the Admin user gets a generated password before the page goes public. The interface comes in Brazilian Portuguese, and each user can change the language in their own account.
Scanning (ping, discovery and DNS names) runs every hour, only on the subnets where you enable it. The REST API is off until you switch it on. Outgoing e-mail and backups are up to you.

With your VPS
Your chosen image installed, the plan’s resources and a panel to manage the server. Administrative access is provided after provisioning.
Configure for your business
The e-mail carries the address, the Admin user and the password; a copy is in /root/phpipam.txt. The interface is already in Portuguese. Add the subnets, mark the ones to scan and, to use the API, switch it on and create a key. The example sections Customers and IPv6 ship with phpIPAM: use them or delete them.
