Pick the right plan for Nginx Proxy Manager

Every plan includes public IPv4 and IPv6, NVMe storage and a 1 Gbps uplink. Click one to reach the checkout with everything filled in.

How to size your project

The smallest plan is 1 GB and covers the panel and the proxy. The proxy's load grows with the number of requests and TLS connections; what usually weighs most on the plan is whatever you run on the same server behind it, so add the memory of the target containers and programs when you choose.

About Nginx Proxy Manager

Nginx Proxy Manager is a web panel for publishing services behind Nginx: you point a domain at an internal address and port, switch on HTTPS with a Let's Encrypt certificate and control access with lists, without editing configuration files. It also handles redirections, 404 pages and TCP and UDP streams.

Here it is the server's own proxy, with no Caddy in front: it publishes ports 80 and 443, and the administration port 81 listens on 127.0.0.1 only. The panel is published by Nginx Proxy Manager itself, over HTTPS only, by the server's name and by its IP. The administrator, with the account's e-mail and a generated password, exists before anything is public.

Until the server's name points at the IP, the panel uses a self-signed certificate and the browser warns once; Let's Encrypt is requested automatically every 30 minutes until it works.

Software features

  • Proxy hosts, redirections, 404 pages and TCP/UDP streams in one panel
  • Let's Encrypt certificates issued and renewed by the panel itself
  • Access lists by IP or by user and password to protect hosts
  • Panel published over HTTPS only, by the server name and by its IP
  • Administration port 81 on 127.0.0.1 only; only 80 and 443 are public
  • Administrator created before any port is public
  • Forwards to other Docker containers or to programs on the server
  • Version 2.16.0 pinned; updated by changing the tag in compose.yaml

Ready infrastructure, with the freedom to configure your application your way.

01

With your VPS

Your chosen image installed, the plan’s resources and a panel to manage the server. Administrative access is provided after provisioning.

02

Configure for your business

The order e-mail carries the panel address, the login and the password. Point your domains' DNS at the server's IP before requesting certificates, or Let's Encrypt cannot validate. Under Hosts > Proxy Hosts, enter the domain and the destination and switch on SSL. DNS, backups and whatever runs behind the proxy are up to you.

03

Expand when you need to

Backups, snapshot capacity, DDoS protection, private networking and other features are available as you need them. Check prices and availability when configuring your server.

You administer the system and application, including updates and data. For help with configuration or management, talk to our team about the scope of support.
