Pick the right plan for Pritunl

Every plan includes public IPv4 and IPv6, NVMe storage and a 1 Gbps uplink. Click one to reach the checkout with everything filled in.

How to size your project

We measured 675 MB in use system-wide after creating, starting and removing a VPN server, with MongoDB at 246 MB and Pritunl at 122 MB. Each connected user and each OpenVPN or WireGuard server adds to that, and encrypting traffic takes CPU. The 1 GB plan runs on swap; for a team, 2 vCPUs and 2 GB give headroom.

  • Protect laptops' and phones' traffic on public networks, leaving through the server's IP

About Pritunl

Pritunl is a VPN server with a web console: you create OpenVPN or WireGuard servers, organise users into organisations, give each person a profile for the Pritunl client or OpenVPN, and see who is connected.

Here it runs on AlmaLinux 10 with MongoDB 8.0 and is its own web server: the console is on port 443 and port 80 serves Let's Encrypt, with no Caddy in front. The pritunl user gets a generated password before the console is reachable, and the default password no longer exists. Each VPN server opens its own port, UDP by default, chosen when you create it.

The console certificate is self-signed until you set a domain under Settings > Lets Encrypt Domain. The installed edition is Community, which is free; SSO, site-to-site links and other premium features are subscriptions sold by Pritunl.

Software features

  • VPN server with OpenVPN and WireGuard, managed from a web console
  • Pritunl 1.34 and MongoDB 8.0 from the vendors' repositories, keys verified
  • Default password replaced by a generated one before the console is reachable
  • AlmaLinux 10, with firewalld disabled because Pritunl manages its own rules
  • Console on port 443, self-signed until you set a domain
  • Each VPN server opens its own port, UDP by default
  • Organisations and users, with a connection profile for the Pritunl client or OpenVPN
  • MongoDB listening on 127.0.0.1 only

What your Pritunl gets at Master da Web

Manage infrastructure from one panel: security, recovery, connectivity and growth. Check prices and availability when configuring your server.

  • Snapshots

Take a snapshot of Pritunl before a risky update and roll back to it with one click, without reinstalling anything.

  • Automatic backups

Scheduled copies of the whole server, kept off the host. Restore the complete Pritunl whenever you need to.

  • Managed firewall

Rules by port and source, applied from the panel, no iptables editing. Open only what Pritunl needs.

  • Security Center

Continuous external scanning of your server, with findings prioritised and the fix spelled out for each one.

  • Private network (VPC)

Connect Pritunl to databases and other servers over an isolated network with nothing exposed to the internet. With a VPN Gateway for remote access.

With your VPS

Your chosen image installed, the plan’s resources and a panel to manage the server. Administrative access is provided after provisioning.

03

Expand when you need to

Backups, snapshot capacity, DDoS protection, private networking and other features are available as you need them. Check prices and availability when configuring your server.

You administer the system and application, including updates and data. For help with configuration or management, talk to our team about the scope of support.
