Pick the right plan for Pi-hole

Every plan includes public IPv4 and IPv6, NVMe storage and a 1 Gbps uplink. Click one to reach the checkout with everything filled in.

How to size your project

Pi-hole is light: the 1 GB plan covers small and mid-sized networks. Load grows with the number of devices, queries per second and how long the history is kept; very large blocklists also need more memory. Start on the smallest plan and watch usage.

What to use a Pi-hole VPS for

Some of the most common uses. The server is yours — run whatever you like on it.

  • Block ads and trackers across a home or office network by pointing the router's DNS at the server
  • Serve several networks — head office, branches and home — from one Pi-hole, allowing each address or dynamic-DNS name
  • See which domains each device looks up, from the query dashboard
  • Block domains by list or by device group and allow the false positives

About Pi-hole

Pi-hole is an ad and tracker blocker that works at the DNS layer: instead of installing an extension in every browser, you point the network's DNS at it and every device that uses that DNS stops loading the domains on your blocklists — phones, TVs and computers, with nothing to set up on each one.

At Master da Web, Pi-hole arrives installed, with its web interface over HTTPS and an administrator password generated during installation. The server is not an open resolver: it answers DNS only to the addresses you allow, because an open DNS server gets used in amplification attacks. You allow your address from a private link in the order e-mail — or with the pihole-allow command, which takes addresses, networks and dynamic-DNS names for connections whose IP changes.

From there it is quick: allow your network's address, switch the router's DNS to the server's IP and watch the queries in the dashboard. Updates use the project's own updater (pihole -up), and the password can be changed under Settings.

Software features

  • DNS-level blocking of ads and trackers for every device on the network
  • Web interface over HTTPS, with a live query dashboard
  • Administrator password generated at install, before the dashboard is reachable
  • DNS answered only to allowed addresses: never an open resolver
  • Private e-mail link to allow your address with one click
  • Allow by address, IPv4/IPv6 network or dynamic-DNS name for changing IPs
  • Blocklists, device groups and per-domain rules
  • Updates through the project's own updater (pihole -up)

What your Pi-hole gets at Master da Web

Manage infrastructure from one panel: security, recovery, connectivity and growth. Check prices and availability when configuring your server.

  • Snapshots

Take a snapshot of Pi-hole before a risky update and roll back to it with one click, without reinstalling anything.

  • Automatic backups

Scheduled copies of the whole server, kept off the host. Restore the complete Pi-hole whenever you need to.

  • Managed firewall

Rules by port and source, applied from the panel, no iptables editing. Open only what Pi-hole needs.

  • Security Center

Continuous external scanning of your server, with findings prioritised and the fix spelled out for each one.

  • Private network (VPC)

Connect Pi-hole to databases and other servers over an isolated network with nothing exposed to the internet. With a VPN Gateway for remote access.

  • DDoS protection

Volumetric attack mitigation for your Pi-hole server. Check protection options and prices when ordering.

  • Grow without reinstalling

Add vCPU, memory and disk from the panel and pay only the difference, and Pi-hole stays exactly as it is.

  • API and MCP for automation

Ready infrastructure, with the freedom to configure your application your way.

01

With your VPS

Your chosen image installed, the plan’s resources and a panel to manage the server. Administrative access is provided after provisioning.

02

Configure for your business

After the order you receive the dashboard address, the administrator password and the private link to allow your address. Until an address is allowed, no device outside the server resolves names — on purpose. Allow your network, then point the router's DNS at the server's IP.

03

Expand when you need to

Backups, snapshot capacity, DDoS protection, private networking and other features are available as you need them. Check prices and availability when configuring your server.

You administer the system and application, including updates and data. For help with configuration or management, talk to our team about the scope of support.
