How to size your project

About MeshCentral
MeshCentral is a remote computer management platform: an agent installed on Windows, Linux and macOS machines connects to the server and, from the browser, you open each one's desktop, terminal and file manager, including machines behind NAT or a firewall.
Here it arrives with the administrator created before the server's first start and with sign-up from the login page closed: nobody becomes administrator by opening the page first. The official 1.2.6 image is pinned, the database is the built-in NeDB and the server does not update itself. Port 4433, for Intel AMT, is not published.
Sign in as admin with the password from the e-mail, create a group under My Devices and use Add Agent to install the agent on each computer. Agents connect to the server's name, which has to resolve to its IP.

With your VPS
Your chosen image installed, the plan’s resources and a panel to manage the server. Administrative access is provided after provisioning.
Configure for your business
The address, the admin user and the password arrive by e-mail; the same text is in /root/meshcentral.txt. Create a group under My Devices and install the agent on each computer. Outgoing e-mail, a domain of your own and backups are up to you; the server's name has to resolve to its IP, or the agents will not connect.
