Pick the right plan for Appwrite

Every plan includes public IPv4 and IPv6, NVMe storage and a 1 Gbps uplink. Click one to reach the checkout with everything filled in.

How to size your project

Appwrite starts about 17 containers, ClickHouse and a headless browser for screenshots among them: 4 GB is the floor and 8 GB is comfortable. Load grows with the number of projects, API traffic and running Functions; disk grows with uploaded files and the runtime images. Below 6 GB of memory the installer creates 2 GB of swap.

About Appwrite

Appwrite is an open-source backend platform for web and mobile apps: it brings authentication, databases, file storage, Functions, messaging and realtime behind one API and one console. Developers use it so they do not rebuild a backend for every app.

Here it arrives as version 2.3.0 with PostgreSQL, installed by the project's own installer and served over HTTPS in place of Traefik. The default secrets are replaced with generated values, the installer's telemetry is switched off, and the console account is created before the page is public, with sign-ups closed.

That is about 17 containers, so 4 GB is the floor. For verification and password-recovery e-mails, set up SMTP in .env; Sites, Function preview domains and MQTT are not configured. Keep _APP_OPENSSL_KEY_V1: it encrypts your projects' secrets.

Software features

  • Appwrite 2.3.0 with PostgreSQL, through the project's own installer
  • Console and API over HTTPS, on the server's name and IP; Caddy in place of Traefik
  • Console account created at install; new sign-ups stay closed
  • Appwrite's default secrets replaced with generated values before first start
  • The installer's telemetry is switched off
  • Functions run in containers, with the enabled runtimes already pulled
  • Realtime and the API under /v1, ready for the web and mobile SDKs
  • A 2 GB swap file below 6 GB of memory; Sites and MQTT are not configured

What your Appwrite gets at Master da Web

Manage infrastructure from one panel: security, recovery, connectivity and growth. Check prices and availability when configuring your server.

  • Snapshots

Take a snapshot of Appwrite before a risky update and roll back to it with one click, without reinstalling anything.

  • Automatic backups

Scheduled copies of the whole server, kept off the host. Restore the complete Appwrite whenever you need to.

  • Managed firewall

Rules by port and source, applied from the panel, no iptables editing. Open only what Appwrite needs.

  • Security Center

Continuous external scanning of your server, with findings prioritised and the fix spelled out for each one.

  • Private network (VPC)

Connect Appwrite to databases and other servers over an isolated network with nothing exposed to the internet. With a VPN Gateway for remote access.

    About the VPC →

  • DDoS protection

Volumetric attack mitigation for your Appwrite server. Check protection options and prices when ordering.

  • Grow without reinstalling

Add vCPU, memory and disk from the panel and pay only the difference, and Appwrite stays exactly as it is.

  • API and MCP for automation

Create, resize and manage servers through the public API — or straight from an AI assistant, over MCP.

Ready infrastructure, with the freedom to configure your application your way.

01

With your VPS

Your chosen image installed, the plan’s resources and a panel to manage the server. Administrative access is provided after provisioning.

02

Configure for your business

After the order you receive the console address, the login and the generated password. Sign in, create a project and register a platform (Web, Flutter and others). SMTP for e-mail, your own domain, the wildcard domains for Sites and Functions, and backups are yours to handle. The SDKs use the https://your-server/v1 endpoint.

03

Expand when you need to

Backups, snapshot capacity, DDoS protection, private networking and other features are available as you need them. Check prices and availability when configuring your server.
