Pick the right plan for Apache Airflow

Every plan includes public IPv4 and IPv6, NVMe storage and a 1 Gbps uplink. Click one to reach the checkout with everything filled in.

How to size your project

Load grows with the number of DAGs, how often they run and what each task does: under LocalExecutor a task is a process of the scheduler and adds its own memory. We measured 2.2 GB in use after installation and one run, and Airflow's own Compose file warns against going below 4 GB and 2 vCPUs. Start at 4 GB and watch usage.

What to use a Apache Airflow VPS for

Some of the most common uses. The server is yours — run whatever you like on it.

  • Run scheduled ETL loads that read APIs and databases and write to a data warehouse
  • Chain tasks with dependencies and configure retries for the ones that fail
  • Schedule reports, maintenance routines and Python jobs that run from cron today
  • Trigger and follow workflows through the REST API from other systems

About Apache Airflow

Apache Airflow is a workflow orchestrator: each workflow is Python code (a DAG) that Airflow schedules, runs in dependency order and shows in a web dashboard, with what ran, what failed and what is pending. Data teams use it for ETL and batch routines.

At Master da Web it arrives as the official 3.3.2 image with PostgreSQL 16 for metadata, behind HTTPS. The executor is LocalExecutor: tasks run as processes of the scheduler, with no Redis, Celery or Flower. The example DAGs are switched off; only welcome exists, paused. The admin is created with a generated password before the dashboard is reachable.

On day one: sign in with the password from the e-mail, unpause welcome and trigger a run. Your DAGs go in /opt/airflow/dags. Extra Python packages need an image of your own or changes to the containers, and the Fernet key in the .env file deserves a copy: without it, a database backup cannot open connections or variables.

Software features

  • Airflow 3.3.2 from the official image, with PostgreSQL 16 for metadata
  • Web UI and REST API over HTTPS; scheduler, dag-processor and triggerer running
  • LocalExecutor: tasks run as scheduler processes, with no Redis or Celery
  • Admin user with a generated password, created before the dashboard is reachable
  • Generated secrets: database password, JWT, Fernet key and session key
  • Example DAGs off, plus a paused welcome DAG for a first test
  • Your DAGs in /opt/airflow/dags, picked up in about a minute
  • America/Sao_Paulo as the default time zone; upgrades by changing the image tag

What your Apache Airflow gets at Master da Web

Manage infrastructure from one panel: security, recovery, connectivity and growth. Check prices and availability when configuring your server.

  • Snapshots

Take a snapshot of Apache Airflow before a risky update and roll back to it with one click, without reinstalling anything.

  • Automatic backups

Scheduled copies of the whole server, kept off the host. Restore the complete Apache Airflow whenever you need to.

  • Managed firewall

Rules by port and source, applied from the panel, no iptables editing. Open only what Apache Airflow needs.

  • Security Center

Continuous external scanning of your server, with findings prioritised and the fix spelled out for each one.

  • Private network (VPC)

Connect Apache Airflow to databases and other servers over an isolated network with nothing exposed to the internet. With a VPN Gateway for remote access.

  • Grow without reinstalling

Add vCPU, memory and disk from the panel and pay only the difference, and Apache Airflow stays exactly as it is.

  • API and MCP for automation

Create, resize and manage servers through the public API — or straight from an AI assistant, over MCP.

01

With your VPS

Your chosen image installed, the plan’s resources and a panel to manage the server. Administrative access is provided after provisioning.

02

Configure for your business

After the order you receive the dashboard address, the admin user and the generated password. Sign in, change the password from the user menu, unpause the welcome DAG and trigger a run to see the whole cycle. Your DAGs go in /opt/airflow/dags. Your own domain, extra Python packages and backups are yours to handle.

03

Expand when you need to

Backups, snapshot capacity, DDoS protection, private networking and other features are available as you need them. Check prices and availability when configuring your server.
