How to size your project
Traccar runs on Java, whose default heap is a quarter of the RAM, next to PostgreSQL: hence the 2 GB floor. Disk grows with every stored position, that is, with the number of devices, how often they report and how long history is kept. Start at 2 GB and watch the disk.

About Traccar
Traccar is an open source GPS tracking server. It receives positions from vehicle trackers and phones and shows the fleet on a live map, with route history, reports, geofences and notifications. It understands more than 200 manufacturer protocols, and there are apps for phones and for the person watching the map.
Here you get Traccar 6.15.3 with PostgreSQL 17 and HTTPS for the web app. The first user, admin, is registered by the installation and open registration is closed before the site is public. The tracker ports are published directly: GT06 (5023), H02 (5013), GPS103 (5001), Teltonika (5027), Suntech (5011), Queclink (5004) and the Traccar Client app (5055).
Point each tracker at the server's IP, on its protocol's port, and add it under Devices with its IMEI. Another protocol needs its port added to compose.yaml. Notification e-mail and database backups are yours to handle.
