Pick the right plan for Supabase

Every plan includes public IPv4 and IPv6, NVMe storage and a 1 Gbps uplink. Click one to reach the checkout with everything filled in.

How to size your project

It is eleven application containers plus Caddy, and the project documents 4 GB as the minimum and 8 GB as recommended. Consumption grows with simultaneous connections, Realtime subscriptions, functions and database size; disk grows with Postgres and with the Storage files. For real use, start at 8 GB.

How to order Supabase

  1. Pick a plan

vCPU, memory and disk sized for your project. You can grow it later without reinstalling.

What to use a Supabase VPS for

Some of the most common uses. The server is yours — run whatever you like on it.

  • Give a web or mobile app authentication, a database and an API without building the back end from scratch
  • Have real-time data, such as chat, dashboards and presence, with Realtime on your own Postgres
  • Store and serve user files through Storage, with per-user access rules
  • Run the back end of development or of a product with the data on a server under your control

About Supabase

Supabase is a back-end platform on PostgreSQL: a database, user authentication, APIs generated from the tables, Realtime, file storage and Edge Functions, all managed from Studio, a web dashboard.

Here the project's self-hosted/v0.8.2 release runs in Docker: Postgres 17, Auth, PostgREST, Realtime, Storage, Edge Functions and Studio, behind Caddy. The keys are generated at install, Studio sits behind a login and the database is not on the internet: the Postgres ports (5432 and 6543, through the pooler) are bound to 127.0.0.1 only and are reached through an SSH tunnel.

The e-mail carries the Studio login, the keys and the connection string. What is left is yours: an SMTP server for authentication e-mails, backups of /opt/supabase/volumes and, if you want Postgres open, a firewall in front.

Software features

  • Supabase's self-hosted/v0.8.2 release in Docker, with pinned image versions
  • Postgres 17 with the Supavisor pooler, PostgREST, Auth, Realtime and Storage
  • Edge Functions from /opt/supabase/volumes/functions, with a sample one
  • Studio behind a login at /project/default, with no open sign-up
  • Publishable and secret keys, legacy JWTs and secrets generated at install
  • Postgres ports (5432 and 6543, via the pooler) on 127.0.0.1 only, through an SSH tunnel
  • Envoy gateway in front of everything; only Caddy publishes ports 80 and 443
  • Database and files in /opt/supabase/volumes, on local disk, for your backup

What your Supabase gets at Master da Web

Manage infrastructure from one panel: security, recovery, connectivity and growth. Check prices and availability when configuring your server.

  • Snapshots

Take a snapshot of Supabase before a risky update and roll back to it with one click, without reinstalling anything.

  • Automatic backups

Scheduled copies of the whole server, kept off the host. Restore the complete Supabase whenever you need to.

  • Managed firewall

Rules by port and source, applied from the panel, no iptables editing. Open only what Supabase needs.

  • Security Center

Continuous external scanning of your server, with findings prioritised and the fix spelled out for each one.

  • Private network (VPC)

Connect Supabase to databases and other servers over an isolated network with nothing exposed to the internet. With a VPN Gateway for remote access.

    About the VPC →

  • DDoS protection

Volumetric attack mitigation for your Supabase server. Check protection options and prices when ordering.

    DDoS protection →

  • Grow without reinstalling

Add vCPU, memory and disk from the panel and pay only the difference, and Supabase stays exactly as it is.

  • API and MCP for automation

Create, resize and manage servers through the public API — or straight from an AI assistant, over MCP.

Ready infrastructure, with the freedom to configure your application your way.

01

With your VPS

Your chosen image installed, the plan’s resources and a panel to manage the server. Administrative access is provided after provisioning.

02

Configure for your business

The e-mail carries the Studio URL, the login, the password, the API URL, the keys and the database connection string. Use the URL and the publishable key in clients and keep the secret key on servers only. User sign-up comes open, as in the release: adjust DISABLE_SIGNUP in /opt/supabase/.env. SMTP and backups of /opt/supabase/volumes are left to you.

03

Expand when you need to

Backups, snapshot capacity, DDoS protection, private networking and other features are available as you need them. Check prices and availability when configuring your server.

You administer the system and application, including updates and data. For help with configuration or management, talk to our team about the scope of support.
