About Docker CE
Docker CE (Community Edition) is the free, open-source edition of Docker Engine: the engine that runs each application in an isolated container, with its own dependencies, the same way on any server. With Docker Compose, a whole stack — application, database, cache and proxy — is described in one file and comes up with one command.
It suits anyone who wants a Docker server ready to go: developers shipping APIs and websites as images, teams running self-hosted tools with docker compose up -d, test and staging environments, bots and workers, and anyone building their own images with Buildx.
On a VPS the whole server is yours: you choose images, versions, ports, volumes and how much CPU and memory each container uses. The cost is the plan's, predictable, and the number of containers depends only on the resources you order.
At Master da Web, the VPS comes up with Debian 13 and Docker from Docker's official repository, not Debian's docker.io package: Docker Engine, the CLI, containerd, the Compose plugin (the docker compose command, v2) and Buildx, at the newest stable version at the time of installation. Log rotation is already set (10 MB × 3 files per container) so a chatty container cannot fill the disk; Docker starts with the server; and a test container runs before handover. A rule applied at every boot drops packets from the network addressed to 127.0.0.1, so a port published only on localhost is reachable from inside the server alone. Access is SSH as root, with the password you chose when ordering; the IP address and the command to connect arrive in the welcome e-mail.
The rest is up to you: which stacks to run, domains and certificates (for example with a reverse proxy in a container) and backups of your volumes. One caveat: ports published by Docker bypass firewalls such as UFW inside the server. Use the managed firewall in the panel, which filters traffic before it reaches the VPS, and publish on 127.0.0.1 whatever should not be public. If you would rather use a web panel, the marketplace has Portainer, Coolify and Dokploy as images of their own.

What your Docker CE gets at Master da Web
Manage infrastructure from one panel: security, recovery, connectivity and growth. Check prices and availability when configuring your server.
Snapshots
Take a snapshot of Docker CE before a risky update and roll back to it with one click, without reinstalling anything.
Automatic backups
Scheduled copies of the whole server, kept off the host. Restore the complete Docker CE whenever you need to.
Managed firewall
Rules by port and source, applied from the panel, no iptables editing. Open only what Docker CE needs.
Security Center
Continuous external scanning of your server, with findings prioritised and the fix spelled out for each one.
Private network (VPC)
Connect Docker CE to databases and other servers over an isolated network with nothing exposed to the internet. With a VPN Gateway for remote access.
DDoS protection
Volumetric attack mitigation for your Docker CE server. Check protection options and prices when ordering.
Grow without reinstalling
Add vCPU, memory and disk from the panel and pay only the difference, and Docker CE stays exactly as it is.
API and MCP for automation
Create, resize and manage servers through the public API — or straight from an AI assistant, over MCP.
