About Redmine
Redmine is an open source project management and issue tracking web application built on Ruby on Rails. It handles several projects and subprojects, with tasks by type and status, workflows per role, Gantt charts, a calendar, time logging, a wiki and forums. Development, IT and support teams use it as a task and ticket tracker.
Here Redmine 7.0.1 arrives with PostgreSQL 17, behind HTTPS. Redmine creates the user admin with the password admin; the installation replaces it with a generated one before the site is public and checks that the old one no longer signs in. It also loads the default task types, statuses, roles and priorities in Portuguese.
Nothing is readable without signing in and nobody can register themselves: you create the accounts under Administração > Usuários. Redmine sends no e-mail until SMTP is configured; that, your domain and backups are yours to handle.

Configure for your business
Sign in at the server's address as admin with the password from the order e-mail; the admin/admin default is already gone. Create your team's accounts under Administração > Usuários and the first project under Projetos > Novo projeto. Setting up SMTP, using your own domain and taking backups are up to you.
