About Paperless-ngx
Paperless-ngx is an open source document management system. You send it scanned PDFs and images, it runs OCR, extracts the text and keeps everything in a searchable archive organized by tags, correspondents and document types. Households, freelancers and small offices use it to get rid of paper piles.
At Master da Web it arrives as version 3.2.1 with PostgreSQL 17 and Valkey, behind HTTPS. OCR is already set to Portuguese and English: the container installs the Portuguese language pack at start-up and the install checks that it is there. The superuser is created before the site goes public, and open sign-up stays off.
Word and Excel files and e-mails (.eml) are not enabled, to save about 0.3 GB of memory and 3 GB of disk; one line in the .env file turns them on. SMTP, your own domain and backups are yours to handle.
