About Metabase
Metabase is an open source BI tool: you connect the company's databases, ask questions with the visual query builder (or in SQL), build charts and dashboards and share them with the people who need them. The visual builder lets people who do not know SQL run their own queries.
At Master da Web you get Metabase v0.63.18.2, the open source edition, with PostgreSQL 17 as the application's own database (not the embedded H2) and HTTPS. The initial setup is done during installation: the administrator is your account e-mail, with a generated password, before the site goes public. Anonymous usage reporting is switched off.
Your data stays in its source databases: Metabase reads the ones you connect, and they must accept connections from the server's IP. Invitations, alerts and password resets need an SMTP server you configure.

With your VPS
Your chosen image installed, the plan’s resources and a panel to manage the server. Administrative access is provided after provisioning.
Configure for your business
The address, the login and the password arrive in the order e-mail. The first start migrates the internal database and takes a few minutes. Sign in, connect your database under Admin settings > Databases, allow the server IP on it, and set up SMTP under Admin settings > Email. Keep the MB_ENCRYPTION_SECRET_KEY.
