Pick the right plan for Jitsi Meet

Every plan includes public IPv4 and IPv6, NVMe storage and a 1 Gbps uplink. Click one to reach the checkout with everything filled in.

How to size your project

The video bridge (JVB) forwards each participant's streams, so network and CPU weigh more than disk. Load grows with participants per meeting, simultaneous meetings and video quality; there is no fixed participant count. With 4 GB the bridge gets up to 1 GB of Java memory; with 8 GB, up to 3 GB. For a team, start at 2 vCPU and 4 GB.

About Jitsi Meet

Jitsi Meet is an open source video conferencing service that runs in the browser: a person opens the room link and joins, with no account and nothing to install. It has chat, screen sharing and rooms named in the URL itself. Teams, schools and companies use it to keep their meetings on a server of their own.

At Master da Web it arrives as the stable-11248 release of docker-jitsi-meet, with HTTPS through Caddy and media on UDP port 10000. Only people with a host account can start a meeting; guests join through the link and wait until a host arrives. The moderator account is created with a generated password and tested before the site is public.

On the first visit, open the server's address followed by a room name, choose the log-in option and sign in as moderator. If a firewall sits in front of the server, open UDP 10000, or people join without sound or video. There is no TURN relay: networks that block UDP cannot connect media.
