Pick the right plan for Apache Guacamole

Every plan includes public IPv4 and IPv6, NVMe storage and a 1 Gbps uplink. Click one to reach the checkout with everything filled in.

How to size your project

Consumption comes from Tomcat, PostgreSQL and guacd's memory per open session: load grows with how many people are connected at once, not with how many connections are registered. The 2 GB minimum holds a small team; for several simultaneous RDP sessions, 4 GB and 2 vCPUs give headroom.

About Apache Guacamole

Apache Guacamole is a clientless remote access gateway: you open RDP and VNC desktops and SSH and Telnet terminals straight in the browser, with nothing to install on the computer you connect from. Machines, users and permissions live in a single panel, and each person sees only the connections they were given.

At Master da Web it arrives as Guacamole 1.6.0 with guacd and PostgreSQL 17, over HTTPS at the root of the domain. The default guacadmin account never exists: the administrator is called admin and gets a generated password at the moment the database is created. The web application is rebuilt on Tomcat 9.0.122, newer than the original image's, which dates from June 2025.

Sign in as admin with the password from the e-mail and add your machines under Settings > Connections > New Connection. Connections go out from the server to them: each machine has to be reachable from it.

What your Apache Guacamole gets at Master da Web

Manage infrastructure from one panel: security, recovery, connectivity and growth. Check prices and availability when configuring your server.

  • Snapshots

Take a snapshot of Apache Guacamole before a risky update and roll back to it with one click, without reinstalling anything.

  • Automatic backups

Scheduled copies of the whole server, kept off the host. Restore the complete Apache Guacamole whenever you need to.

  • Managed firewall

Rules by port and source, applied from the panel, no iptables editing. Open only what Apache Guacamole needs.

  • Security Center

Continuous external scanning of your server, with findings prioritised and the fix spelled out for each one.

  • Private network (VPC)

Connect Apache Guacamole to databases and other servers over an isolated network with nothing exposed to the internet. With a VPN Gateway for remote access.

Ready infrastructure, with the freedom to configure your application your way.

01

With your VPS

Your chosen image installed, the plan’s resources and a panel to manage the server. Administrative access is provided after provisioning.

02

Configure for your business

You receive the address, the admin user and the password by e-mail; the same text is in /root/guacamole.txt. Add machines under New Connection and create one account per person under Settings instead of sharing admin. A domain of your own, two-factor sign-in and database backups are up to you.

03

Expand when you need to

Backups, snapshot capacity, DDoS protection, private networking and other features are available as you need them. Check prices and availability when configuring your server.

You administer the system and application, including updates and data. For help with configuration or management, talk to our team about the scope of support.
