On more recent UEFI computers, when we try to install Windows 7, we sometimes get the error that the CD Rom driver is missing (“A required CD/DVD Drive device driver is missing…”).
Miraculously, there is a solution to this problem, all you have to do is go into your BIOS settings and disable the USB 3.0 interface, making it work like USB 2.0.

After configuring your USB interface to work in 2.0, just try installing Windows 7 again.
