Pick the right plan for Valkey

Every plan includes public IPv4 and IPv6, NVMe storage and a 1 Gbps uplink. Click one to reach the checkout with everything filled in.

How to size your project

Valkey keeps everything in memory, and the limit here is half the RAM (maxmemory) with noeviction, so the data set has to fit in it. We measured about 400 MB in use after install, with the empty server using about 20 MB. Size by the data and remember that 1 GB of RAM leaves about 500 MB for keys.

How to order Valkey

  1. Pick a plan

vCPU, memory and disk sized for your project. You can grow it later without reinstalling.

  2. Confirm the order

Pix, bank slip or card. Nothing is charged until you confirm, and you have a 7-day guarantee.

  3. Valkey ready in minutes

What to use a Valkey VPS for

Some of the most common uses. The server is yours — run whatever you like on it.

  • Cache pages, queries and API responses to take load off the main database
  • Keep user sessions and rate limits shared across several application servers
  • Background job queue for libraries that use Redis as their backend, such as BullMQ and Sidekiq
  • Publish and subscribe to messages (pub/sub) between services and keep real-time leaderboards and counters

About Valkey

Valkey is an in-memory key-value database, Redis-compatible: it stores strings, hashes, lists, sets and streams and is used as a cache, session store, queue and pub/sub. It is the fork of Redis 7.2.4 maintained under the Linux Foundation.

Here Valkey 9.1.2 is built from the official release, with TLS, and sits on port 6379 as a remote server: TLS only, no plain-text port and no unauthenticated access. The default user is off and there is one user, dbadmin, with a generated password. The certificate is self-signed, for the hostname and the IP.

Data goes to disk (AOF every second, plus snapshots) and the memory limit is half the RAM, with noeviction: a full server refuses writes. To use it as a cache, change the policy; for only your servers to connect, restrict port 6379 in a firewall.

Software features

  • Valkey 9.1.2 built from the official release, with TLS and systemd integration
  • Port 6379 with TLS 1.2 and 1.3 only: there is no plain-text port
  • Default user off: no command runs without authentication
  • dbadmin user with a generated password, kept only as a SHA-256 in users.acl
  • Self-signed certificate for the hostname and the IP, which a client can pin
  • AOF persistence (fsync every second) and RDB snapshots in /var/lib/valkey
  • maxmemory at half the RAM with noeviction: a full server refuses writes
  • Works with redis-cli and Redis libraries; valkey-upgrade builds newer versions

What your Valkey gets at Master da Web

Manage infrastructure from one panel: security, recovery, connectivity and growth. Check prices and availability when configuring your server.

  • Snapshots

Take a snapshot of Valkey before a risky update and roll back to it with one click, without reinstalling anything.

  • Automatic backups

Scheduled copies of the whole server, kept off the host. Restore the complete Valkey whenever you need to.

  • Managed firewall

Rules by port and source, applied from the panel, no iptables editing. Open only what Valkey needs.

  • Security Center

Continuous external scanning of your server, with findings prioritised and the fix spelled out for each one.

  • Private network (VPC)

Connect Valkey to databases and other servers over an isolated network with nothing exposed to the internet. With a VPN Gateway for remote access.

  • Grow without reinstalling

Add vCPU, memory and disk from the panel and pay only the difference, and Valkey stays exactly as it is.

  • API and MCP for automation

Create, resize and manage servers through the public API — or straight from an AI assistant, over MCP.

Ready infrastructure, with the freedom to configure your application your way.

01

With your VPS

Your chosen image installed, the plan’s resources and a panel to manage the server. Administrative access is provided after provisioning.

02

Configure for your business

The e-mail carries the address and port, the dbadmin user, the password and the certificate fingerprint. Connect with TLS (rediss:// or --tls); without TLS the connection is refused. Create per-application users with ACL SETUSER, decide whether Valkey is a database or a cache and limit the port to your servers in a firewall.

03

Expand when you need to

Backups, snapshot capacity, DDoS protection, private networking and other features are available as you need them. Check prices and availability when configuring your server.

You administer the system and application, including updates and data. For help with configuration or management, talk to our team about the scope of support.
