What is WSL2?

How to install WSL2?

Installing WSL2 is easy! Just follow these simple steps:

Check whether you are using Windows Server 2019 (version 1709) or Windows Server 2022.
Activate the Windows Subsystem for Linux feature.
Install with the command “wsl –install”
Update WSL with the command “wsl –update”
Install the Linux distribution of your choice using “wsl –name-of-distro”
Simple, easy and fast.

Once you’ve installed WSL2, you’re faced with a whole new world. Run Linux commands and applications in the Windows terminal. Access your Windows files in the Linux terminal, and vice versa.
