About Vaultwarden
Vaultwarden is a server compatible with the Bitwarden apps and browser extensions: you keep passwords, notes and cards in an encrypted vault and reach it from the browser, the phone and the extension, pointed at your own server. Families and small teams use it to have a password manager without depending on a third-party service.
At Master da Web, Vaultwarden 1.37.3 arrives with SQLite and Caddy over HTTPS, with sign-ups closed. The installer registers the owner's account and checks that the vault unlocks before the site is public; the login, the generated master password and the token for the /admin panel come in the order e-mail.
Change the master password on first sign-in, rotating the encryption key too: nobody, this server included, can recover a vault without it. In the apps, choose self-hosted and enter the URL. To invite people, set up SMTP first. Backing up the data volume is up to you.
