How to size your project

With the cache, what weighs is the traffic that cannot be cached: signed-in users, cart and checkout, searches. For a blog or a company site, 1 to 2 GB is enough; stores and member areas need 2 to 4 GB and 2 vCPUs. Disk grows with the media you upload.

About OpenLiteSpeed WordPress

OpenLiteSpeed WordPress is WordPress running on LiteSpeed's own stack: the OpenLiteSpeed web server, LiteSpeed's PHP (LSPHP) and MariaDB, with the LiteSpeed Cache plugin already active. The cache lives in the web server itself: a page that has been visited is delivered without running PHP, and the plugin removes from the cache any page you edit. The site answers over HTTP/2 and HTTP/3.

At Master da Web you get OpenLiteSpeed 1.9 with PHP 8.5 and MariaDB 11.8 on Debian 13, and the newest WordPress release, checked file by file against WordPress.org's checksums. It arrives in Brazilian Portuguese, on São Paulo time, with friendly permalinks, and the administrator (admin) is created during installation with a generated password sent in the order e-mail, so the install page is never exposed. The Let's Encrypt HTTPS certificate is requested for the server's name and renews itself. WebAdmin, OpenLiteSpeed's control panel, is on port 7080 with a password of its own, also sent in the e-mail.

Sending e-mail from WordPress (password resets, notifications) needs an SMTP server, set up with a plugin. Pointing your domain, backups and plugin and theme updates are yours; OpenLiteSpeed, PHP and MariaDB update with apt.
